Founder of little art
Creativity Mentor & Art Educator
Harriet Poole (UK) is the founder of little art, the playful person-centred space for creativity in Berlin. She works with kids and adults using mindful sensory processes and graphic art materials, to immerse in a state of flow, opening up to that which is possible. Her Creativity LABs are a bespoke concept inspiring creativity in community and business settings, here in Berlin from Lollapalooza Festival, to Berlinische Galerie and ESMT Business School. Harriet’s approach focuses participants on the present moment of connectedness to ourselves, curious hands exploring with a slow, open, beginner's mind.
Originally, Harriet is from London, and has been in Berlin since April 2013. She is a UK qualified (PGCE) Visual Arts and Design teacher and mentor, having worked at Berlin Bilingual School, Berlin Metropolitan School, Fröbel and Be Smart Kitas here in Berlin, and previously for many years as Director of Visual Arts and Design at The BRIT School, alongside her performative art practice. Harriet is a parent to a playful and wonderful 6 year old, from whom she never stops learning.
Harriet has a BA in Fine Art, MA in Theatre, (Visual Language of Performance.) She has made numerous performative events in London, including at The Nunnery, Camden People’s Theatre, Duckie @ The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, and in Alte Saline, Hallein, Austria. She especially loves beautifully illustrated books, making up stories, vintage and homemade craft, and seeing accidental art in the everyday. Precious family sketchbook time is also high on her list of loves. She enjoys slowly cycling through the beautiful and bonkers visual city of Berlin, with her daughter and their big open eyes, hearts and minds. Harriet and her little artist recently enjoyed Betonest together.
Harriet speaks English (Native) and German (B1). Connect here on LinkedIn.
